Nyasha grew up in Harare for most of his life, having a rural background at an early age in Matabeleland. He was accustomed to traditions and crafts that were astonishing.
After his studies, he came back to his home country and realized the need to promote art and crafts produced by local artisans on global platforms.
Beginning a journey of a thousand miles by forming Stone House Sculptures (Pvt) Ltd after realizing a gap in the art and crafts industry.
“I studied Transport and Logistics Management at the University of Lusaka in Zambia. With the city being a hub for the culture and arts scene in Harare, and two others set up Stone House Sculptures gallery with an aim to provide a platform to promote the works of experienced and emerging artisans and to showcase their practice. Finding an artwork you love is rare. So, assisting people in acquiring beautiful works to bring them daily joy and inspiration is my favorite part about being an art consultant.”
