Nyashadzamwari N . Chiremba

They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a few steps and Nyasha was bold enough to take that first step. Meet the founder and visionary behind Stonehouse Sculptures, an acclaimed online gallery bridging the raw, soul-stirring spirit of African craftsmanship with discerning collectors worldwide.
Born and raised beneath the wide Zimbabwean skies, he grew up surrounded by the pulse of Shona sculpture traditions, stone chisels ringing in the Great Dyke, master carvers transforming serpentine into timeless serpents, and ancestral spirits symbolised in sculptures.
Those formative years, spent wandering rural art co-operatives and absorbing the storytelling power of every curve and facet, ignited an entrepreneurial fire to provide the world with access to authentic African art.
I studied a bachelor's degree in Transport and Logistics Management at the University of Lusaka in Zambia. I then came back to my home country to fuse the expertise gained with my passion for Art to create an Online art gallery to provide a platform to promote the works of experienced and emerging artisans and to showcase their practice to the world. Bridging the gap between collectors and artists.
